Current research shows that high attrition rates directly correlates to the lack of director preparation and continuous support. The Director's Training is designed to increase and support new and seasoned directors in six core areas. Explore a wide range of subjects over the from creating and maintaining an efficient organization to engaging with family and the community, and more.

Observation Prep (CLASS)

Participants are introduced to the "310 Theory", which allows attendees to understand the practical applications of the CLASS Domains and Dimensions that are thoroughly demonstrated through the training sessions.

Active Supervision and Zoning

All childcare, Head Start staff, and volunteers are responsible for making sure no child is left unsupervised. Active supervision is a strategy that works. It can be used in classrooms, family child care, playgrounds, and buses. It can also be shared with families as a tool to use at home.
